Parent Association Board

Parent Association Board

The Parent Association Board is a committee comprised of parents who volunteer their time to work with the school’s faculty and administration, in order to support school development and to remind us of our obligation to our children. Its common goal is to maintain, develop and make available necessary resources that will help the school in its continuing effort to provide a quality educational experience for every student who attends Lycée Franco-Américain. It has several missions:

  • To facilitate community building among parents
  • To serve as a liaison between parents and administration
  • To organize social activities for the children and the LFA community
  • To assist the school with fundraising activities
  • To actively serve on sub committee assignments defined by the school (such as accreditation)
  • Foster unity and goodwill among students, faculty and parents from all nations or religious backgrounds, and to cultivate tolerance and understanding among all people, regardless of nationality, race, color, religion, gender, age, or beliefs.

The members of the Parent Association Board (PAB) are elected on a yearly basis (elections are held at the beginning of the school year in September). Monthly meetings are held the 2nd Wednesday of every month at 8:30am in the school cafeteria. We are always looking for volunteers and welcome anyone who would like to give of their time, creativity, expertise, or donations.

The PAB does not make, decide, approve, disapprove or enforce any decision, rule or regulation of Lycée Franco-Américain.

The PAB has an email address to allow parents to communicate with the PAB officers : This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
